ABOUT ME
Moa Hundseid
I am 29 years old, born and raised on a farm in Vikedal. A small village surrounded by vast, beautiful westland mountains, here my interest in outdoor life has been cultivated.
As a one-year-old, I had to be forced into the cabin with skis on because I would rather be outside. That's how it is to this day. I would most like to be out on adventures, either on long skiing expeditions, on high mountains or on a sledding trip with my polar dogs in Norway or at home in my western mountains. Therefore, it is perhaps not so strange that I have chosen the life path I have followed, as a polar guide and adventurer.
Since I am mostly outdoors all year round you will most likely see me with tangled hair and tanned cheeks. My faithful polar dogs dangling after me is another great way to recognise me.

2013
Around the world - visit all seven continents.
2014:
Crossing Greenland on skis, 600 km.
Crossing the length of Norway on foot, 3000 km
2015:
Cross the Arctic Glacier in Patagonia, Chile.Known for its inaccessibility, extreme weather and its wild glacial landscape.
Cross Havana Beach in Cuba on skis. The world's first crossing of Havana Beach on skis.
Lived as a dog handler in the wilderness in Alaska, USA.
2016:
Kobuk River with skis and sleds along in Alaska. 400 km through Inuit culture and minus 50 degrees with predators as backdrops.
Guided an international group for Børge Ousland Explorations across Greenland. 600 km.
Hike in the Himalayas in Nepal alone with all equipment in a 30 kg backpack. Ended my stay with a top visit to Island Peak 6189 masl.
2017
Made a new trip for the company Børge Ousland Explorations, a trip over the Northwest Passage. 400 km through polar bear country, pack ice and raw landscape!
Elbrus, Kauakasus, Russia. Europe's highest mountain. 5640 masl.
Manaslu, Nepal 8163 masl.
