Spend the night at our unique campsite on the Folgefonna Glacier.
Join us for an unforgettable overnight adventure on Folgefonna Glacier. Sleep under the stars at our glacier campsite, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Norwegian dinner, breakfast, and hot beverages. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, from warm sleeping gear to cozy clothes, is provided.
Inclusions:
Overnight stay at the campsite on Folgefonna Glacier, with all sleeping equipment included (tent, double bed, pillow, warm duvet, etc.)
Traditional Norwegian dinner, breakfast, and hot beverages
Warm clothes and boots for loan
Spend the night on Norway’s third-largest glacier in a unique campsite. You’ll be treated to a warm dinner in the comfort of traditional Scandinavian tents, surrounded by reindeer hides and the warmth of a fire. The campsite offers plenty of time to explore the stunning surroundings, meet the huskies, and fully appreciate the wilderness. Instead of a regular hotel stay, this experience allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, while staying warm and comfortable in the heart of the glacier.

Meet and greet with huskies: Spend time getting to know our friendly huskies, with plenty of opportunities for interaction. You might even get to cuddle with the puppies!
Unique glacier Campsite: Our traditional campsite on the Folgefonna Glacier offers a glimpse into Norway’s history. With Scandinavian tents, reindeer hides, and open fires, you’ll experience a setting reminiscent of how people once lived in these areas.

Availability: Daily departures 15.00 May - July
Age limits: Recommended from 3 years old. NB: the tour starts with a 30 minute hike up to our camp.
Meeting Time and Place: We start just outside the entrance to Fonna Glacier Ski Resort, with a 30-minute walk to the camp.
Please note: A toll fee applies for accessing the resort. The toll road is owned by Jondal Municipality, costing 100 NOK per vehicle. This fee includes parking and helps maintain the road.
What to Bring:
Warm clothes (woollen base layer, warm jacket, wool sweater, etc.)

Important Note:
Weather conditions on the Folgefonna Glacier can change quickly, so please dress warmly and bring sunscreen and sunglasses to ensure your comfort.
